Rice pudding with nettles

Grease a heat-resistant dish with butter and line it with breadcrumbs. We put half of the amount of rice in the bowl, we spread it, then we put a layer of nettles, ending with the layer of rice over which we sprinkle the rest of the grated mozzarella.


Bake the pudding at 180 ° C for 35 minutes, or until the mozzarella is browned. Let it rest for an hour before serving.

My guests ate pudding as a garnish next to pork chops flavored in beer and were very excited.

How to make a rice pudding with milk and chocolate sauce & # 8211 in the oven or in a multicooker?

How and how much rice is boiled for rice pudding with milk?

I washed the rice and boiled it in milk with vanilla, a pinch of salt and grated lemon peel. I set the multicooker device to function rice (rice) 30 minutes. 830 ml milk
115 g uncooked rice with long grain
75 g sugar
½ teaspoon salt
75 g raisins
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Combine milk, sugar, rice and salt in a large saucepan. Over medium-low heat, boil the composition while stirring constantly, until it starts to boil. Do not use a large flame to cook the rice faster. It should boil slowly.

After the composition has boiled, pour the rice into a deep baking tray (ceramic or metal) greased with butter. Cover with foil and put it in the preheated oven beforehand. Let the pudding cook for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. At the end of the 45 minutes, add the raisins and vanilla essence. Bake for another 15 minutes, until the rice is soft. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve hot or colder rice pudding.
